PRP is an autologous preparation of platelet rich plasma, obtained from the patient’s own blood. First effects of platelet rich plasma treatments performed in Warsaw are visible after two weeks. Tissue reconstruction begins already 48 hours after the first treatment. Improved tension, elasticity, skin density, reconstruction of collagen fibres and filling of minor wrinkles is achieved after three treatments in the following scheme: 0-1-6 months. As soon as after two treatments, considerable thickening of hair and improved hair condition is visible.

The platelet rich plasma treatment is relatively quick and easy, performed by a doctor specialising in dermatology. Phase one involves drawing a small quantity of blood using the vacuum method. After whirling, platelet containing plasma is obtained. After thickening and adding a special reagent, app. 4ml of platelet rich plasma is obtained.
